I priced out building my own setup and equipping it with a fan and humidifier. This worked out to be a better deal with the sale price. Easy setup with the video. The humidifier took some time to get setup right.

I am so excited. This started growing just days after I received them. I have never had pink oyster mushrooms before so I’m excited to try them. Just a few more days to go. I am going to try the lions main next.

I bought 4 all in one grow bags, 2 from Redwood and 2 from another, more expensive, producer. The two bags from the other producer both got trich. My LC inoculated Redwood bag is now fully colonized and looks fantastic - just waiting for fruiting to begin. With the spore inoculated bag, I am still waiting for visible progress but spores do take longer. All of these bags were inoculated at the same time so Redwood clearly has a higher standard or production. Really happy with these. My Lion’s Mane from Redwood also did great btw!

I used this and some of my substrate in a bucket grow. About two weeks in and it is looking good. Looking forward to some oysters soon.

All my other mushrooms were in great fruiting conditions and my grey oysters, king trumpet, and lions Maine have started to grow. The shitake unfortunately came out the bag already sprouting mushrooms. They look a little smushed and kind of deformed in growing so far. It’s been a couple of days but I’m going to give it a little bit more time for it to flex in its new space in my Martha tent/shroom grow tent. (Images were taken outside of Martha tent sorry for the blur)

Sometimes shiitake kits can sprout early, but shiitake is very hardy, they often can continue to produce multiple harvests. We hope yours recovers nicely. They have the wrong product shown and the specifications do not match. So I though I was getting a still air box 2ft L x 3ft W x 2 ft H and instead got 18in by 30in 18in.

This thing is amazing! It’s almost too good. I’m having a hard time dialing it in. At the “proper” RH everything (the bins, catchment sheet at the bottom, etc.) filled up with water. It feels like a good problem to have though. I’ll just need to keep working to figure it out.

Gray Oyster just harvested, hot weather last week had them dry out some,
Shiitake was already started growing in box, harvested 3, hope for 2nd flush
Lion Mane still growing, slow start but growing nicely.

These grew very well in my Martha tent! I like to cook them on a charcoal grill with butter and garlic salt. Very tasty! The kit provided enough to share with my neighbors. This would be a 5 star review however the kit shipped to me with a hole in the bag. There was a full flush of mushrooms upon arrival which I wasn’t thrilled about. I did get a second flush though. Every other kit I’ve received from Redwood has been exceptional. Great experience!
