They have the wrong product shown and the specifications do not match. So I though I was getting a still air box 2ft L x 3ft W x 2 ft H and instead got 18in by 30in 18in.

This thing is amazing! It’s almost too good. I’m having a hard time dialing it in. At the “proper” RH everything (the bins, catchment sheet at the bottom, etc.) filled up with water. It feels like a good problem to have though. I’ll just need to keep working to figure it out.

Gray Oyster just harvested, hot weather last week had them dry out some,
Shiitake was already started growing in box, harvested 3, hope for 2nd flush

These grew very well in my Martha tent! I like to cook them on a charcoal grill with butter and garlic salt. Very tasty! The kit provided enough to share with my neighbors. This would be a 5 star review however the kit shipped to me with a hole in the bag. There was a full flush of mushrooms upon arrival which I wasn’t thrilled about. I did get a second flush though. Every other kit I’ve received from Redwood has been exceptional. Great experience!

i ordered liquid culture premix for wood loving mushrooms but i was sent dung loving liquid culture premix
It looks like there may be a misunderstanding here.
Liquid culture premix is not mushroom species-specific. There isn’t a true “wood-loving” vs. “dung-loving” liquid culture media—most formulations are general-purpose and designed to support a wide range of species. The Dr. Myc Adaptive Liquid Culture PreMix is specifically formulated to provide a diverse range of carbohydrates that help cultures adapt to common grain types like rye, milo, wheat, or millet. This supports strong growth in liquid culture and efficient transfer to grain, regardless of the mushroom species you’re working with.
Because of that, the premix you received is correct and fully suitable for wood-loving mushrooms. If you have any questions on dialing in your process, we’re happy to help.

I started two bags at the same time. One was from Redwood, one from a more expensive competitor. Both under the same conditions. The Redwood bag fully colonized quickly and is on point. The other stalled out.

It’s been great! There are a few small things, it goes through all the water every other day and I wish the fan had cycle options.
