Yellow Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit

This kit arrives fully colonized and ready to fruit, with no setup required beyond opening the bag and maintaining surface moisture. Yellow oysters thrive in warm, humid environments (70–75°F) and typically begin pinning within a few days. You can expect your first harvest in about a week after fruiting begins.

Yellow oysters are delicate by nature—their caps are thin and fragile, and they produce a generous amount of spores as they mature. For best results, harvest early (while caps are still cupped) and grow in a ventilated space. They’re ideal for use in grow tents or indoor setups that can support airflow and humidity.

Remove the kit from the box and place it in a well-lit area away from direct sun. Cut a 2–4" “X” in the front of the bag and mist the opening 2–3 times per day to maintain surface moisture. Mushrooms usually begin to form within 3–6 days. Harvest while the caps are still curved to ensure the best texture and reduce spore release.

If not ready to grow right away, you can refrigerate your kit for up to a month, or store in a cool, dry place for 2–3 weeks.
